Technology is moving more swiftly than most of us can keep up with. AI, social media, and an endless deluge of information shape how we learn, communicate, make decisions, and direct our attention. Few of us have had the opportunity to pause and ask, How do I want to engage with all of this? This interactive one-hour online workshop creates a safe space for that conversation.
Together, we'll explore the questions that matter most through a brief introduction to digital and media literacy, followed by open, participant-driven dialogue. We'll take a look at how technology affects our attention, relationships, and everyday experiences. Along the way, we'll dig into topics such as AI, algorithms, misinformation, persuasive design, social media, and the attention economy, always returning to the question of how we can engage with technology in ways that nurture our values and wellbeing.
If you're curious about developing healthier digital habits, wondering how to navigate AI more thoughtfully, or just trying to make sense of it all, this workshop offers a welcoming space for conversation, collaborative learning, and reflection. You'll leave with a better understanding of the digital world, greater confidence in asking critical questions, and practical ideas for cultivating a more intentional relationship with the technology you use every day.
