A phone-free afternoon of creative, sensory, and embodied practice for adults.
Join us for a screen-free afternoon of creativity, movement, and connection designed for adults who are curious about unplugging more intentionally throughout the week.
Held at Felicity’s cozy NE Portland home and backyard (a ⅓-acre haven), this low-key day workshop offers a gentle pause from digital life, a chance to slow down, tune in, and spend a few hours in embodied, face-to-face presence.
What the Afternoon Looks Like
Welcome + get-to-know-you circle
Brief orientation and settling meditation
Gentle movement and sensory exploration (textures, stillness, improvisational motion)
Attention and sight practices to soften focus
A neighborhood “wonder walk” with provided sketchbooks and pens
Snack break with plant-based, organic, and gluten-free offerings
Open conversation, creative sharing, and spacious downtime
Sound immersion through a guided music-listening session
Scent-inspired writing prompts and a slow “sniff walk”
Closing meditation and goodbyes
We’ll spend time both indoors and outdoors, moving at an unhurried pace. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, and bring water.
About the No-Phone Policy
Phones stay tucked away and off for the duration of the workshop. There are no photos allowed. This is a shared agreement to make room for deeper attention, presence, and connection. If you’re interested in unplugging more during your week, this afternoon offers a lived experience of what that can feel like.
Group Size & Cost
This gathering is intentionally small — up to eight participants — so there’s room to breathe, explore, and be present.
