Join us in this immersive workshop to uncover the extraordinary power and subtle language of the eye. Through guided ocular dancing and gazing exercises, we’ll explore the unique strengths of the iris, cornea, pupil, sclera, conjunctiva, and optic nerve—awakening a fresh appreciation for the art of seeing. Together, we’ll practice “watching” as a mindful act, developing a deeper awareness and connection with ourselves and the world around us.
We’ll begin with fifteen minutes of gentle eye movements, blinking exercises, and directional gazing to stretch and strengthen the eyes. Participants will then select a small object—a twig, gum wrapper, petal, fern leaf, pebble, or anything else nearby—to focus on. Through this practice, you’ll observe with intention, noting textures, colors, and shapes in ways you may never have noticed before. To wrap up, we’ll share observations, so please bring a pen and notebook to record what you discover. Whether you're an eye enthusiast or simply curious, this gathering offers a chance to expand your perception through the art of attentive presence.
